About Curya

Software for the people who make the economy work.

Curya started with a problem we kept seeing in kitchens, behind bars, on service floors: managers losing whole afternoons to schedules nobody loved. We were sure it could be solved properly. So we built Curya.

The Curya team

We believe scheduling should be a five-minute decision, not a five-hour negotiation.

We come from operations research. The kind of optimisation that schedules a thousand-person team is the problem some of us spent years on, in labs, long before the first line of Curya. We pair that depth with the design taste of a consumer product.

The result is a tool managers actually open on Mondays, and teams actually trust on Saturdays. Scheduling a shift team is the same hard problem everywhere, in restaurants, on retail floors, in care homes. We started with hospitality because that is where we learned it best.

We move quietly. We build carefully. And we measure ourselves by the hours we hand back.

How we think

Four principles that shape every decision.

01

Reality first.

We start from the floor, not the spreadsheet. Every constraint is grounded in how real teams actually work.

02

Respect humans.

Fairness, preferences and quiet hours are not nice-to-haves. They are the foundation of a schedule worth following.

03

Earn trust through clarity.

Every recommendation Curya makes is explained in plain language. No black boxes, ever.

04

Less, but better.

We ship slowly, with intention. The product gets quieter, not louder, with every release.
