Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Curya, Lda ("Curya", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at www.curya.co (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
We keep this short on purpose. We only use what is necessary to run the site securely and to make the interactive demo work smoothly. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies such as local storage work in a comparable way. In this policy we refer to all of them as "cookies" unless we say otherwise.
Cookies can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by a service we use). They can also be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain for a set period or until you delete them.
2. Cookies we use
We do not set any advertising or analytics cookies. The only third-party cookie we have observed is set by Calendly, which powers our demo booking widget.
- Type
- Strictly necessary
- Purpose
- Protects the Calendly scheduling widget from malicious traffic and helps it load reliably when you request a demo.
- Duration
- Session, typically up to 30 minutes
We do not currently use performance, functional, or marketing cookies from providers such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar trackers.
3. Local storage
In addition to cookies, we store a small number of items locally in your browser: one to remember your cookie banner choice, and one to improve the interactive demo on the home page.
- Type
- Local storage (strictly necessary)
- Purpose
- Records your cookie banner choice (accept all, reject optional, or your per-category preferences) so we do not ask you again on every visit.
- Duration
- Persistent, until you clear your browser storage or reset it via Cookie settings
- Type
- Local storage (functional)
- Purpose
- Remembers calibration for the interactive schedule demo so the scroll animation feels smooth on your device.
- Duration
- Persistent, until you clear your browser storage
These items stay on your device, are not used to track you, and are not shared with any third party.
4. Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. To find out how, visit the help pages of your browser.
Because the Calendly cookie is necessary for the booking widget to load securely, removing it may prevent the widget from working until you revisit the page.
5. Consent
The cookies and local storage items above are strictly necessary or functional for features you actively use, so we rely on them without requiring your consent, as permitted under applicable law. When you first visit the site we show a cookie banner where you can accept all cookies, reject optional cookies, or set your per-category preferences (functional, analytics, marketing); your choice is stored in the curya:cookie-consent local storage item described above. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. We do not currently set any optional cookies, so today those preferences are recorded for the future; if we introduce analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies, we will update the tables above and honor your stored choice before setting them.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add or remove services. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
